happy and nervous :) :S

Oh gosh! I am late for updates! I said I will be updating my blog on Sunday and only now I am here. To all that have been waiting for that update, here it is! :)

Saturday I was away for a COPE event which is called 'COPE IDOL'. Like American Idol & Singapore Idol, it is a singing competition designed for the elderly in estates we are providing aid to. I got to see the amazing singing talents of the elderly that took part in the competition! Man, little did you know, on an everyday basis, they look like normal uncles and aunties in the market or around us BUT when you place a microphone in their hands, it is as if they have gone through a total transformation into a singer! They danced and sang to their hearts' content and they even competed for prizes. It was indeed an unforgettable and enjoyable day. The smile on their faces as they were going home showed that they really enjoyed themselves. :)

Later that day was a 50 Q n A test that my zone had. It was a fun and it is something that is really useful in my life and in later part of my life. Stayed up until 5am the night before preparing for this test, so I think I should be doing well for it. ;)

Then on Sunday, Headed off for CG as normal, I had a blast! I got to know more about the people in N362 and I believe I will be able to learn some valuable lessons from them. (Sometimes, I love the rain! XD )

Then at night, I went out to catch up with some of the funkiest, good friends I know. The members of the former N363. It was a time for us to catch up with one another and see how we have adept to the new environment that we have been placed to. It was an enjoyable night with laughter filling the air. Of course, something special, we dropped a call to someone dear who is in Australia, DESMOND!! We actually wished him happy birthday over the phone to him. To Desmond: really all the best in your studies and really do well over there! :)

Monday: Ahh yes... The days of me being a GL in a camp... I got that warm, fuzzy feeling again. Now, I'm watching over the upcoming GLs that are going to be in 09/10 FO camp. It sure brings back memories of how fun things were back then. And yes, yours truly is a medic. (an ancient medic too XD)

Tomorrow's wednesday and its results day. I am so nervous! I don't know what to expect when I log into the administration system tomorrow at 10am. nervous nervous...
