whoa... oh... oh... oh...

I'm back again and this is one interesting semestral break I.

First off, I went on a camping trip to Ubin on 10-13 Sept. I went to school on the night before to prepare for the camp. Yes, yours truly is a camp medic again. (I guess that is what I do best for camps)

The days in the camp I say are enjoyable. Although the classic things that happen are, mosquitoes, sandflies, wild dogs sneaking up, trying to eat something, water monitor lizards mistaken as a komodo dragon, people shouting for medics, cycle to the seaside town to get a cold drink. Lastly, my favourite, wild boar sightings. (man, I have camped at Ubin 3 times and still I have never seen a wild boar. many fellow campers said they seen them.)

this year is a bit different, our usual campsite has 2 cats that always meow extremely low, begging for food and trying to steal something from us. I was given a special task of guarding food supply from them. It was a fun experience as the cats like to sneak very close to the food and then suddenly 'meow'. which startle many of us. Also, there was a bat at the location where we stored the food. It was interesting and I somehow called it our mascot. Haha!!

Things aside, this year's camp is also I accidentally stepped out of my boundary as a medic. I actually scolded some of the campers for their poor performance. I didn't watch myself this camp and I guess this is a serious lesson to be learnt as a medic. Medics DON'T interfere with the running of the camp except when casualties are noted.

Its good to see another batch of year 1s graduate from this challenging camp as they are really tested left, right, center.

Camps aside, back to reality. FYP is the 'in' thing for year 3 students and I am still trying out how to do mine with Python. I hope I can complete it in time. :S

Just a sidenote, I can't believe that that leader's meeting that was weeks ago still roams around. A few of my friends actually encouraged me to do what was shared. I myself find that what was shared is good but I think its not really my time yet. Even my leader gave me a word to be patient. I think ultimately, God holds the key. I'm loving it! <3

Overall, my verdict is: I'll be patient and take it slow. :)
