A brand new year

well, i am finally back to update. sorry for this super late one. this post took 2 weeks! haha...


ok, first of all, i just want to say happy new year as i did not greet you guys here.


ok. it is the new year already and 2 weeks after new year celebration. so, expect a long long post for this one.



NEW YEAR CELEBRATION


ok, for celebrating new year countdown, i first went to Sing Yee's house to have dinner. by the way, she is a fellow SP POS friend. haha. then we watch 'you, me and dupree' after a sumptuous meal of pasta. enjoyed ourselves and then after that i went to Lot 1 to meet my cell members to watch death note 2: the last name. ok, movie review. it is totally a turndown!! man. it really is not nice to death note readers. first of all, Light is THE most smartest guy in the manga and all the while he didn't notice he was using a fake book? man, turndown. also, where's Neer and Mello? they play a quite important part in the story and they were not featured in the movie. greater turndown. sigh. also, it didn't really explain how to use death note and then the movie creator expects everyone is a reader. haha... well, to all non-readers of death note, i guess they are hinting you something. haha... rating: 3/5.


then after the movie, Desmond drove Ben, Chloe and me down to marina parade to meet up will Sharlynne's cell. then we sat inside the hong kong cafe restaurant for quite a long time then we went to esplande for a while before we made our way to CHJIMES at city hall and we played games all the way till 7.30am! wow! finally went home after that.



NOW, FOR THIS WEEK

haha, this week is quite fun. constantly going back to school to do projects and assignments.

then, this week has been a very fruitful week for me. got to learn a lot of new things and get to set even better goals then last year.

well, service was a jaw-dropper for me. the sermon was really good. pastor really spoke something that really stirred me up. haha. really excited for this year already. 200% hyped already. got a lot of new year resolutions and thoughts.

well, thinking back, it was just last year that rose up to become a cell group guitarist and when one rises up, it means greater responsibility. so, i cannot slack in everything i do. in my guitar practice and my spiritual life. this is what i have to learn real hard to attain.

well, here are some resolutions i made:


- be more mature
- i want to pray even more everyday.
- learn how to play even better, maybe even pick up learning electric too.
- excel in my studies
- rise up in my cell even more, in ministry and CCA


well, these are some of them. there's a whole list for them if you want them but these are the ones that i think i want to place them here.



well, i wonder what will happen in the near future. i am really expecting many new and different things to happen. i really want to get to know more people and understand myself even the more.


also i really have to be even mature than how i am now. i still find there is a lot of places for me to improve. i am going to learn to be more encouraging and learn to be someone that can impact people's lives. this is my goal.


i wonder what will happen. haha... it will be the best year yet. this is what i can be expecting. i know it will further strengthen me and stretch me beyond from what i can normally do.
