A new year, a new beginning

it's 2006!!! yeah! never look back at the past defeats, never think that after accomplishing so much, you can be complacent. keep striving for the best man! that is what i learnt today. well, here's a short post for the past few days before the year end:

Friday
went to east coast with some of my friends for a fun afternoon. can't believe that i could actually learn to cycle within a day! this is so amazing. i never cycled before and just spent about 1 hour or less, i mastered the basic of balancing and minor steering. cool! then at night, went for a drama rehearsal for saturday's cell group meeting. i was given the role to act as the father of the main character. the role kind of reminded me of how i treated some people in the past. always detesting them and wanting to get them out of my life. sometimes, i even hate them for doing practically nothing!(oh ya, the skit was about the father hating the son because of the death of his wife while giving birth to the son.) so gave my best in performing and haha, some of the people said that i really did a very good job acting as the father. hmm... then after rehearsal, went home with JiJi, a fellow zone member. can't believe she lives just at guilin view. haha...(don't get me wrong, she's my big sister in Christ!)

Saturday
supposed to help out at old airport road today by distributing calendars to the elderly but, due to my involvement with the drama, i couldn't help out. sigh... bummer... anyway, had our last rehearsal and head for the meeting place. then thought about more dramatic actions i could do and then we are on the stage performing! can see everyone was nervous. some even forgot their lines. haha... still, enjoyed the experience to act(performed so many times before. even some 'unusual' roles also have acted before already. :S ) after the entire cell group meeting, most of us received appreciation awards from our cell leader. haha, it was fun. this is what i call acceptance. (no name-calling, insulting and fights) ended the last cell group meeting for the year well. some of the zone members came up to me and praised me for my acting skill. hmm, should i begin an acting career? i really have no idea...

then went for work at night. wah! new year's eve crowd sure is BIG! our usual closing time was 9+pm but we closed at about 10pm! customers just kept flooding our restaurant! really tiring, man! no much time for breaks, i'm always on the lookout for empty plates and clearing them before our next customers come.(was a bit annoyed by a guy who tried to act 'cute' with me, still, you are forgiven :)) left for home at about 11pm. citylink mall is jam- packed with people heading for the esplanade. wah. managed to got into the MRT station. reached home at about 12+am.

Sunday
should all acquitance be forgotten and never brought to mind, should all acquitance be forgotten and for auld lang syne! it's today man! haha. of course, a new year celebration is never complete without singing 'auld lang syne'. sang it with all my heart. if you are reading this, just want to say to you that if you have disappointed or did something bad to me(let it be open or in the dark), i forgive you. no contracts, no 'sign on the dotted line' crap. you are forgiven from that sin(or sins). after church service, went out with some goofy cell members. love to spent time with mature believers. they always can teach you a thing or two. still, rain rain and more rain. sigh... fell sick also.

after reaching home, had panadol and now i feel better. sure is one new year to remember. started out sick. haha...

ok then, time to catch a sequel. see you in my next post.

replies;

hahaha. thanks!

so here's some tips...
make your words BIGGER! easier to read.
dun use red or any color that dun stand out.
your testimony not very easy to read. :p

Maybe you wanna use a chat-box instead of using comment? the word verification is too troublesome.

All-in-all, not too bad for starters. Hahaha.
